Batteries are generally divided into disposable batteries and rechargeable Sony NP-BG1 batteries. People have a great importance to improve the capacity of lithium-ion batteries ,and want to achieve maximum working hours by buying the physical size of the smallest battery products . However, in some applications,it is more important for longer battery life, charge times or more safer than the battery, Sony NP-BG1,capacity of the battery . Here are a few methods to extend the battery life.

there does not exist to extend or shorten theDigital Camera Battery life of any single factor, but often several factors which have combined to play a role. in terms of the extension of life cyclethe,there aire some following ways to extend battery life:

In general there are three kinds of batteries for us to use, such as:Nickel-chromium Sony NP-BG1 battery ; Ni-MH battery; Lithium battery.they are generally expressed as: Ni-Cd NI-CD, Ni-MH NI-MH, Lithium-Ion battery LI.

  1. because of their too early age ,there are many headache shortcomings for Nickel Cadmium  Sony NP-FC11 NI-CD , such as: bulky, heavy weight, capacity, small, short life, there is memory effect, etc. (useless), and now no longer in use .
  2. Ni-MH battery is more environmentally friendly some compared to other Samsung,it is also by far the most environmentally friendly battery in the world.
  3.   3. The complete charge-discharge cycles should be taken to ensure, when using the Sony NP-FC11 battery each time,which is fully charged before use no electricity to recharge, so it  help to reduce the battery memory effect,and extend battery life and maintain performance. In addition,we should avoid re-interrupted.the charging process . We usually have such some bad habits, such as when charging battery ,unplug the charger to see how hot the battery, charger and then plug back then. This usually will lead to apppera instability in the charge cycle, the battery can  re-start a full charge cycle, but in front of the charging cycle has completed. The experience of buying a rechargeable batteries

Last year I bought a Samsung digital camera (DigimaxA4), and assembly a charger and rechargeable batteries by myself, after a period of time, we found that the battery is not really very durable.In generally I used the camera no more than half an hour on the morning, ,the battery would not have power (previously I used a Sony digital cameras, Sony NP-BG1battery, there is no such situation).

Now every time I normally charge up the battery for more than 10 hours, the battery I bought is 3.7 volts, so at the begning I thought the battery capacity may be too small, and decided to buy a big point of volt-ampere battery, it may be durable . But I saw batteries ,all of them in market ,are nearly 3.7 volts (take the Sony NP-FC11for example ). I do not know is the reason why the battery is not very durable.

Finally I asked a friend, he said the battery he uses is a Samsung original rechargeable batteries, Samsung SLB-0637, it will help to extend battery life, more durable,the most important is the rechargeable batteries are also relatively more cost-effective. The first three times should charge for 12-14 hours. Because it is a memory power’s sake, so the first three should fully activate the battery. Digital cameras themselves are relatively power-hungry digital products, not the Samsung was the case.

In addition ,he tell me how to extend the service life of rechargeable batteries,such as these following colleagues:

  1. To Choice good quality rechargeable batteries (such as brand batteries: Sony battery, Samsung battery and so on).
  2. To select the qualified battery charger(in generally the brand batteries is qualified,for one thing,the  Samsung SBL-1974). A quick charge function should be intact against overcharge kinetic energy, rechargeable batteries should make full use of slow charge.
  3. To reduce the number of battery charge. Each charge should be full of electricity and be all used up.
  4. Capacity of Digital camera battery which is rechargeable ,should be same ,and can not mix old and new together .
  5. To prevent excessive discharge and large current discharge, to prevent short circuit and no electricity storage.
